Training and Instructional Design

Working with Blattner Brunner's Vice President of Human Resources, 8 Sharp completed the instructional design and writing for two Professional Development manuals. Both manuals, which are focused on Client/Account Management and Discipline Practice Management, detail the agency-wide processes and tools used for estimating, forecasting and providing proactive job and discipline management.

Course material was uncovered and later validated by thorough interviews of the agency's Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The two training sessions were designed to include real-world case studies, videos, and class exercises that allowed the trainees to practice the training objectives in a small-group setting, followed by a larger discussion led by the training moderator. Both training sessions also proved to be flexible enough to be taught in as little as a half day for senior staff, or as much as a full day for novice learners.
