Arguably the most well-known icon of American photography, Ansel Adams's striking, visionary photography celebrated the landscape and nature he loved.

A conservationist, Adams brought the simple beauty of the American landscape to the masses, helping advance his conservation activities with the Sierra Club and other organizations.
